Jane Street & Mulgoa Road Upgrade

Follow the steps below to register your workers as contractors on the Jane Street & Mulgoa Road Upgrade for McConnell Dowell.

We suggest you read through the steps before you get started, and allow yourself time to source and upload the information needed to work on this project. A nominated administrator from your business will be required to complete the steps below.

Do you have rail workers on this project? They must hold rail worker cards with the National – Around the Track and TfNSW – Operator roles. You will then add the correct rail roles for them in the McConnell Dowell system (step 3 below). Click here for more information about the Rail Safety Worker program.

Let’s get started!

Step 1 > Create a business account

Click the button above to go to the system.

> Start by selecting the country your business operates in, and then search for your ABN

> Enter contact details, including email and business address and phone number

> Select Request Registration to have the business registration verified and be emailed login details

Already have an account? Click Back to login above Business Details Registration.

The next steps are to add your workers to ensure their compliance to work on the Jane Street & Mulgoa Road Upgrade.

Step 2 > Add workers

Now your business is registered, you can login and add your workers in the system! You’ll start by selecting Manage Roles and then Add New Employee. From here you can enter and save their personal contact details, address, phone and email.

Step 3 > Add roles and upload documents

You will next select your worker’s name to Add New Role and choose the Jane Street – Construction project role and at least one work role (the role they were recruited for on this project).

Your selections here will determine the competency documents (licences, tickets, certificates of attainment) you’ll upload in the system to prove your worker’s qualifications to perform the chosen role/s.

At this point, you will also search for and select the rail workers (who must hold rail cards with the National – Around the Track and TfNSW – Operator roles) you have on this project. Add the Jane Street – RSW Cardholder role and at least one work role to their profile.

Step 4 > Pay for worker registration

With your workers entered in the system, you can pay for their registration and order their ID cards to work on the Jane Street & Mulgoa Road Upgrade.

Worker registration costs $50 + GST per person per year for the management of roles and verification of documents. A tax invoice will be supplied on payment.

Valid RSW cardholders will not be charged for worker registration in this system as they have already paid in the RSW system.

Step 5 > Pegasus validates documents and applies roles

Pegasus will validate the documents you’ve uploaded during registration. You’ll be emailed if there are any issues so you may update the information. Upon approval, the roles will be applied to your workers in the system.

To complete registration, you must contact site to book your worker’s site induction. Access ID cards will be printed and distributed at the end of the site induction.

You may also wish to invite your registered employees to the Worker Portal, where they can manage their own compliance. Simply select the Invite Employee option from their profile. Visit the Worker Portal page for more information.

It’s important that you keep details and documents up to date to maintain compliance. You will be emailed if anything is expiring to keep it current.
